The Way of the Eagle

If you conform to the Way,
Its power flows through you.
Your actions become those of nature,
Your ways those of heaven.

Open yourself to the Tao
and trust your natural responses…
Then everything will fall into place.

As I started my morning walk, I deliberately slowed down and instead of looking at other people, let the universe guide my vision. The cool gentle breeze caressed my body and my eyes moved upwards towards the distant horizon, and rested upon a convocation of eagles taking flight. As I observed the eagles, I felt the universe trying to convey an important lesson in living through the eagles. I opened up to the Tao and learned an important lesson – the lesson of ‘Living Naturally’ expressed as a short poem.
