The Way of the Tao

The Mystic Sage 
knows there is
ugliness in beauty

For what is beautiful
is always in 
relation to ugliness

The Mystic Sage
recognizes the
evil in goodness

For nothing can 
be good without
the presence of evil

The Mystic Sage
understands that difficult
is born in the easy

For when something 
is easy
the difficult is on its way 

The Mystic Sage knows
the world of ten thousand things
exists in duality

That duality is contained
in the hidden
omnipresent oneness 

Therefore the Mystic Sage
is non-judgmental
and ever detached

Denying nothing
Expecting nothing
Claiming nothing

Allowing naturally
Accepting naturally
Acting naturally

The Mystic Sage lives
the paradox of unity in duality

The Mystic Sage is the embodiment of Tao
